Integrations (For Enterprise Only)

The Integrations section of BarrierBreak A11yNow lets users configure Jira integrations settings. A11yNow supports the following Jira integration options:

  • Jira Cloud
  • Jira Server/ Data Center.

Benefits of Jira Integration​

Jira integration lets you:

  1. Create Jira issues directly from accessibility findings.
  2. Sync issue status between A11yNow and Jira.
  3. Link accessibility issues to existing Jira tickets.
  4. Track remediation progress in your existing workflow.

Connect to Jira Cloud (OAuth)​

To connect to Jira Cloud,

  1. Navigate to BarrierBreak A11yNow.
  2. Go to Settings and click on Integrations.
  3. Click on Jira Cloud.
  4. Click on Connect to Jira Cloud.

To cancel the connection process, click the Back arrow to return to the previous page.

  1. You are redirected to Atlassian sign-in page.
  2. Sign in with your Atlassian account.

After authentication is complete, A11yNow connects to your Jira Cloud instance.

Connect to Jira Server / Data Center​

To connect Jira Server or Jira Data Center,

  1. Go to Settings and click on Integrations.
  2. Click on Jira Center / Data Center.
  3. Enter the following information:
  • Instance URL
  • Email ID
  • API token.
  1. Click Connect.
  2. Select one of the following Sync options:
  • Bidirectional (A11y ↔ Jira)

For Bidirectional, you can sync data from A11now to Jira and Jira to A11yNow.

  • To Jira only (A11y → Jira)

note

For Jira only, whatever changes is done in A11yNow it will only be reflected in Jira.

  1. Click Save settings.
  2. Click Open Jira. You are redirected to Atlassian sign in page.
  3. Enter your credentials and click on continue.
  4. To disconnect the integration, click Disconnect at any time.
