Project Integrations (For Enterprise Only)

The A11yNow Jira integration enables teams to connect accessibility workflows with Jira by configuring projects, issue types, severity mapping, status mapping, sync options, and field mappings. This ensures seamless creation, tracking, and synchronization of accessibility issues between A11yNow and Jira.

Connecting Jira to A11yNow

The integration between Jira and A11yNow is only possible after Jira is connected in settings.

To connect Jira,

1. Navigate to BarrierBreak A11yNow.
2. In the navigation panel, select Projects.
3. Select a Project.
4. Select the Integrations tab.
5. Click on Connect. Jira is now connected to the select project.

Filtering Jira Options

To configure the integration settings,

1. Select a Jira project from the drop-down list.
2. Select Issue type from the drop-down list.
3. Configure Sync Options:
   • Auto Sync: Automatically sync between A11yNow and Jira.
   • Auto-Create Issues: Automatically create Jira issues for new A11yNow findings.
4. If you select Auto-Create Issues, you can choose either:
   • All issues
   • Fails
   • Fails and Suggestions
5. Configure Severity mapping:
   • Blocker
   • Critical
   • Major
   • Minor
   • Best Practice
6. Configure Status mapping:
   • To Do
   • In Progress
   • Done
7. Configure Fields mapping.
8. Click on Submit to save the integration or cancel the integration. The configured integration details are displayed on the dashboard.

Editing the Integration

To edit the integration,

1. Click on Edit in the upper- right corner.
2. Update the required configuration options.
3. Click on Submit to save changes.

Disconnecting Jira

1. Click on Unlink Jira. The Jira gets disconnected.
