The Details section provides a consolidated view of all configuration settings defined for a project in BarrierBreak A11yNow.
It helps teams understand how accessibility scans are configured and allows updates to selected settings as project needs evolve.

Overview

The Details page is divided into three key areas:

  • Project Details – Core project configuration
  • Crawler Options – Page discovery and scan behavior
  • Authentication – Access settings for protected webpages

Project Details

This section summarizes the primary information associated with the project.

Project Name
Displays the name assigned to the project. This can be updated to reflect changes in scope or naming conventions.

Guideline
Shows the accessibility standard and conformance level used for testing, such as WCAG 2.2 (AA).
This remains fixed to ensure consistent evaluation across scans.

Auto Scan Frequency
Indicates how often automated scans are scheduled (for example, biweekly).

Next Scan
Displays the date and time of the upcoming scheduled scan based on the selected frequency.

Domain Name
Shows the primary website or application URL included in the project.

Passes
Indicates whether pass results are included along with validate and fail outcomes.

Take Screenshots
Indicates whether screenshots are captured during scans to provide visual context for issues.

Optimize Header/Footer
Shows whether shared header and footer components are optimized to reduce duplicate issues.

Header/Footer CSS Selectors
Displays the CSS selectors used to identify header and footer sections.

Project Label
Shows labels applied to the project for easier filtering and organization.

Crawler Options

This section shows the crawler settings selected during project creation. These settings define how pages are discovered and scanned for the project.

The information displayed includes:

  • Subdomain crawling configuration
  • Handling of robots.txt and meta robots rules
  • Sitemap-based page discovery
  • Included or excluded subfolders
  • URL parameter handling
  • Crawl depth selection
  • Custom scripts used for dynamic content scanning

These settings provide clarity on how the crawler was configured to align with the structure and behavior of the website.

Authentication

The Authentication section displays the access configuration used for scanning.

Authentication Type
Indicates whether authentication is configured.
This allows scanning of pages that require login or restricted access.

Updating Project Settings

The Details page allows teams to update key project configurations, such as scan frequency, screenshots, labels, and Project name without recreating the project or affecting past scan results.
Core project identifiers, such as the domain and accessibility guidelines, remain unchanged to maintain consistency in reporting and conformance tracking.
