Re-crawl Pages in BarrierBreak A11yNow
The Re-crawl feature allows you to discover and crawl pages again within an existing project.
It can be used to re-crawl previously added URLs or to include additional subdomains under the main domain that were not part of the original project setup.
Steps to Re-crawl Pages
- Navigate to BarrierBreak A11yNow.
- Select Projects from the main navigation.
- Open the relevant project.
- Navigate to the Pages tab.
- Click Re-crawl.
- In the Re-crawl dialog, browse or search for URLs available under the project’s main domain, including subdomains that were not previously included.
- Select one or more URLs or subdomains you want to crawl.
- Review the selected items shown in the dialog.
- Click Save to store the selection,
or click Save and Scan to begin crawling and scanning the selected URLs immediately.
The crawl status is displayed while the process is running, and an email notification is sent once the crawl is completed.
Re-crawling helps keep project data current by ensuring newly added pages and subdomains are included in ongoing accessibility evaluations. This supports continuous monitoring as websites evolve, without the need to recreate or reconfigure the project.
