This release delivers improvements to element focusing accuracy, user experience, and export reliability in the A11yInspect Extension. The updates focus on smarter selector handling, contextual in-product guidance, and a bug fix for the A11yNow export flow.

Key Enhancements

Improved Element Focusing Accuracy

The internal logic for focusing elements by selector has been refactored to handle a wider range of CSS selectors, including those with special characters and spaces. This ensures more reliable and accurate element highlighting during inspection.

Dynamic Contextual Sections

The extension now displays dynamic sections tailored to the user's plan and subscription tier. Depending on the user's account, these sections surface informative links, helpful guidance messages, and premium upgrade prompts — providing relevant, in-context information at the right time.

Help & Support Tab

A Help & Support tab has been added to the extension, giving users quick access to the A11yInspect product documentation website directly from within the tool.

Bug Fixes

Export to A11yNow – New Page Creation Fix

Resolved an issue where exporting multiple issues to the A11yNow dashboard caused multiple pages creation when a new page was being created from A11yInspect. Subsequent batches in a multi-batch export now correctly reference the newly created page instead of attempting to create it again.
